Junior Industrial Designer
Sabrina joined Vert Design in 2020 after graduating from the University of New South Wales with first class honours, and has since worked on projects assisting with design thinking, concept development, graphic assets, and the occasional boat building. Sabrina sees design as an opportunity to connect and build relationships with those she is working with, in assisting them to bring their visions to life and create real world products with a positive impact. She places strong focus on empathetic design principles, enjoying the process of testing and iterating products to develop tactile qualities such as the form, texture and materiality so that they have strong emotional value. Sabrina loves designing for niche groups of people and enjoys the process of understanding their unique needs and the new ways of problem solving that arise through the hands-on process of designing. Having learnt a digital sculpting program on the job, Sabrina often takes on projects which require freeform modeling such as character figurines, and replicating soft textures. Sabrina seeks to creatively find ways to improve a products environmental impact and while considering convenience and appeal for the user.
